I have been teaching English as a Second Language, Beginning computers, Job Preparation and College Preparation at Watsonville/Aptos Adult School since 1985 and I love my adult students!!!
Hundreds of students have progressed;
have learned to speak English,
have completed their GED,
have become U.S. Citizens,
have completed CNA Training,
have entered Cabrillo College,
have gotten better jobs and
feel good about themselves.
They are role models for their children, sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, friends and other community members.
I look forward to hearing from others!

Hi Teresita, way to go! This is a greaat idea for classes which have access to computers. i just tried to follow the instructions and ran into a wall when i tried to use "open id" in the list under "Comment as". I will try again as a google account user. Here goes.

yes indeed, it worked fine when i went through as a known google account user. Not sure how folks who have not signed up anywhere will fare, but signing up for a free blogger id might be the easy solution?

To post to this blog you only need to choose a profile...either "anonymous" or "name URL" You don't actually have to put a URL for the latter, just a first name. Select one of those two from the drop-down menu below the comment box. I hope more of you will post comments. It really is fun and you can learn about students in other classes.
